The Big Thing
It's time to reveal the next piece...or is it the "next
peace?"
For those of you patient people on my e-mail list
you may have noticed in the past year I have been talking a lot
about my "Clear The Fear" seminars and "Clear
the Fear home study system",
my "Reluctant Sales Person" programs, my "Shyness Sucks"
seminar, my "Abundant Practice Seminar" and my NLP
Certification Trainings...
You haven't heard much about it but
I've also been performing my "DrumSongStory" programs for school
kids...and.....
Writing songs... a
LOT of songs................since 1976... almost
400 of them and counting.
Some of you are aware that for 30 years I've been
writing songs but not doing a whole lot to get them out into the
world. (Thank you to all my friends who keep "nudging" me to "get
them out!")
For those of you who have come to my workshops and
seminars, integrating my music into the topic I'm teaching is
something that just makes sense doesn't it? Once you hear it you get
it, right? Sometimes it's a bit hard to explain but it seems to
work.
In addition to the writing and teaching and
performing and working with 1:1 clients from all over the country,
I've been writing songs for a huge music project involving a 12 year
old girl who is a singing prodigy. How that came about is the
subject for a future news letter...
But here's the challenge. I can't do everything!
Duh :o)
I think Tony Robbins said:
"You can do anything you want but you can't do everything
you want."
I have to focus and re-organize what I'm doing and
how it works so I can honor my highest purpose...
Which is ultimately...that of a
Modern-Jedi Songwriter...
So I've combined all the individual programs I was
doing under the umbrella of "Modern Jedi" because everything I do is all about mastering your internal world as well as your
external world. The Modern Jedi Mind Mastery tools of NLP,
Ericksonian Hypnosis, Time Line Therapy, EFT, etc. work for just
about any situation or challenge you can possibly think of...so I
can't focus it down into one little niche.
My apologies to all my Marketing Coaches out there
who say "Find your niche!" Instead of doing 7 different "niche" newsletters
I'm going to be doing one big 'Notch".
Instead of 7 different websites I'm going to be
honing it down to 2.
www.MarkShepard.com will now be
dedicated to preserving the close to 400 songs I've written over the
past 30 years, many of which have never been recorded or even
performed. I kept holding myself back from performing...that's one
of the things that finally hurt enough to drive me to learn NLP. Now
I've cleared the blocks I can't wait to share these songs with you.
www.Modern-Jedi.com will now cover all the
topics related to NLP and personal mastery that enabled me to clear
the stuff that held me back and honor my music and other gifts.
The point is that these two things are not at all
separate in my own mind. My music is totally intertwined with my NLP
work and vice versa.
I'm still quite deep in the reorganization so
please bear with me as I get things straightened out.
Thank You!
So as I prepare to hang out with my family for
Thanksgiving, I truly want to thank you all for your patience and
interest. I know you're e-mail boxes are stuffed. So I promise to
create a newsletter that is "to the point" and useful to you.
I also promise to not take it personally if you
don't want to stay subscribed forever.
So, with all that said, just a little
piece of business.
Even though you got this newsletter,
you may not actually be on the Modern-Jedi list. Or the new
MarkShepard.com music list. In order to keep
receiving "The Modern Jedi Weekly Ezine" and also get access to
the songs and all
the other cool stuff on the site you need to "opt-in" and confirm your
subscription to either one.
The only difference is
that with the Modern Jedi list you get the NLP mini
course. So if you want to learn more about NLP and
mastering your mind for a change (to defeat the "dark
side" in your personal and professional life) choose the
Modern Jedi. If you just want to stay tuned into the
music opt-in to the Mark Shepard site. If you don't want to receive anything in the future you can unsubscribe
right now down at the bottom of this message.
